Let's all sit around and decide what the best iPhone game is... it should be fun.

Baseball Slugger's definitely a lot of fun, but nowhere near the best game available.
I'd have to say that my favourites so far, above all, have to be Zedonia and Flight Control.
Zedonia is the best RPG on the platform, and is quite addicting. One downside is that it seems to eat up my battery life a bit, but it's worth it.
Flight Control, because it provides countless hours of fun with such a simple formula that the developers have no less than perfected.

I got baseball slugger. I dont like it THAT much...
I thought flick fishing would be for about two minutes.
PocketGod is alright, can't play it more then 5 minutes but ive always had it.
Topple 2 is my favorite at the moment.
Though I love showing Hysteria to my friends.
Doodle Jump is a pick up and go.
Zen Bound was awesome.. for a month.

That's a tough one; there are so many great picks.
While I wouldn't be without Assassin's Creed, F.A.S.T, Need For Speed Undercover, Frenzic, or Harbor Master, if I had to pick just one I'd choose Deep Green. Chess isn't everyone's idea of fun, but Deep Green is such a beautifully polished app with a wealth of subtle touches that -- for me -- it stands out from everything else in the Store.

methinks flight control (haven't tested multiplayer yet) and i still enjoy star defense. restaurant master is a hidden gem if you like time management games, imo.

You know, I like Flight Control but I just can't love it. It's still good for timewasting, but...I don't know. I'm weird? Lock 'n' Roll is still my go-to casual game, AND it was free. :)
Bounce On is still my all-time favorite, followed closely by Zenonia. I'm determined to finish all of Bounce On's levels before buying my next game. And for something a bit more unusual, Scrabble is still a darned good app, especially for addicts like me!

The Scrabble app really is amazing. I've also been in some nasty Trivial Pursuit games recently.

Did you guys try iraft wars, is just like raft wars for PC but it also has a multiplayer option, is really easy and fun to play. I've been playing it with my brother all day.

How can you choose a best game? There are a LOT of really good games. The three I've enjoyed the most are F.A.S.T, Touchgrind and Sway.

As the developer of Deep Green, I’ve played it once or twice.
Go to its homepage (http://cocoastuff.com/products/deepgreen/) under Testimonials and see what others are saying (refresh page for more random testimonials).
You can also watch videos of the game in action. And finally, you can get the free Lite version which does exactly the same as the full version except restoring the previous game at app relaunch.
Have fun,
Joachim

A few (too hard to say which is best):
Real Racing - best racing game, end of story
Zenonia - really good RPG, does have its flaws though
Sway - awesome platformer that perfectly utilizes the iPhone's multi-touch capablilities
Edge - lots of style
Castle of Magic - great graphics and level design
Baseball Slugger - simply addicting
Defender Chronicles - best TD imo.

Ok, well lets look at it this way. If Rolling Stone can come up with a list of the best songs of all time, we should be able to come up with the best game. I really want a convincing argument that a single game is the best. Don't worry about having a controversial choice... it'll just liven the debate.

Ok, then I say Sway. No game has taken full advantage of the iPhone's capabilities like Sway. The controls really feel intuitive once you get the hang of them, there are enough levels, and it's very challenging to get gold medals on all the levels. In short, I can't find any flaw in the game.

You must; it's epic. I will say though, it's very frustrating in some parts.

i just downloaded Jetman Jack, www.itunes.com/apps/jetmanjack , and I honestly can't put it down. we all know the helicopter game? jetman on facebook? finally a version of this came out on the iphone that is really playable. i used to use icopter and icopter free, but those really just don't play like this one. jetman jack finally got the controls right and it has really cool 8-bit graphics. you should all definitely check this app out.

I have to say that Zenonia and Castle of Magic are currently my all-time favorites. Both are very different genres, but both are incredible in their fields.
I think that I actually might like Castle of Magic more, for the moment. So many things in it are unexpected--hidden areas, surprising side-effects of powerups, and so on. It really betrays the creativity of the developer, and after Gameloft's epic-fail Rise of Lost Empires, I was pleasantly surprised. Zenonia is awesome in its own right, but it does stick to a formula.
Of course, my preference for CoM might be due to the fact that I got it a few days ago. Time changes things. :) But CoM is really an excellent platformer.

I see you guys like to rock it or something.
For me the best music for a game is Ratchet and Clank. And whoever said Splinter Cell... right on. You can actually buy that music on iTunes ifn you want.

Saw a new game out today... iPark It! as it is called(http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=323253827&mt=8). Only once in a while comes along a game that is actually innovative, and hey, it got me writing about it! Now, coming to think about it, its not a new concept, there's been umpteen Parking Games out there, and I think there were a couple for iPhone already too. Maybe their Flash counterparts set too huge a standard for iPhone competition? Maybe, maybe not. Anyways, heres what I think about the game, in case anyone was looking for a review:
- The driving controls are really cool, and maybe the single best thing about the game. Having a wheel on your finger tips makes you feel like DRIVING! Not to mention the throttle control too
- Takes a while to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, there was no stopping me!
- Only 40 levels (thats a con, I guess, I think I need more, Im at level 30 already!)
- Scoring system is pretty fine, but the "Trading" option(Trade 300 points of yours for an extra life), puts you in quite a dilemma.. Quit the game now for a chance at the highscore? or sacrifice 300 points to continue on? Made me think business too!
- Some levels are quite tough, and takes real skill to park! My mom got the hang of iPark It! quicker than I did! Boy, talk about women park jobs!
On the whole, the game would be a nice 4/5, and I would say worth the dollar you spend. Do check it out. Would love to hear what others think about this game!

My favorite game as of the moment is Card Drop (http://carddrop.kuyimobile.com/). It's been taking a lot of my time recently since I bought it from the AppStore. My goal is to go up higher on their leaderboards and get all the game achievements. Also, my votes for the best all-time iPhone/iPod game goes to:
Knights OnRush (action, arcade)
Zombieville USA (action, platformer)
Card Drop (card, casual)
Flight Control (puzzle, casual)
